Organizations Filed Purposes:
To create an atmosphere that encourages creative and spiritual growth for both horses and humans. Amplify the voices of the forgotten, the abused, the lost and the ill. To bring these horses back to a healthy balance, interjecting the support and work of humans that seek the same healthy balance. There is a saying that unconditional love conquers all, we have proven this to be true.
Live freely on the land.Promote public awareness to the plight of horses - elderly owners who just want their horses safe from abuse and slaughter after they are gone, families who hit difficult times, children who would otherwise never get a chance to ride, and of course, our forthcoming veterans program where veterans can be employed to assist with the care of the horses and while receiving housing to create a home. We network with other rescue operations and create local events for the public to build existing fostering programs, create internship opportunities and guest speaking opportunities to share their knowledge and experience with our communities. The final ranch will be a 20 plus acre property with protected borders, ensuring a safe space for our programs, facilities and stables. Horses of all ages can be safely introduced, receive medical care nutrition and love. H.E.R.R. embodies what the horses and the natural landscape has taught us and continues to show us every day - how to mercy, how to open our hearts through compassion and how to live every day with unconditional love.
