The ROC Warriors national program raised funds and procured 200 wheelchairs which were shipped to Nepal. Children received these wheelchairs through our partner organization in Nepal even though our team of veterans were not able to participate in the process.ROC Shop (Community Service):ROC Wheels engaged 29 individuals from the county court community service and prison reentry programs. These individuals provided of 461 hours of service to ROC Wheels, helping us assemble Rockit wheelchairs and construct an office for our new executive director.COVID-19 Impact:The COVID-19 pandemic reduced ROC Wheels effectiveness as follows: A planned May trip to fit wheelchairs in the West Bank was cancelled. COVID-19 lockdowns in the West Bank have prevented our local partner from delivering the wheelchairs to kids. A planned July trip to Uganda for a Community-Based Rehab conference was cancelled.
