To work with the community to build sustainable support and enhance innovative educational opportunities for students, teachers and community members in partnership with Gardiner Public Schools.
* Allocated over $100,000 to Gardiner Public Schools (GPS).* Sent six GPS teachers to a mental health training with renowned behavioral analyst and special educator Jessica Minahan, as well as hosted another training with Ms. Minahan in Gardiner for 50 educators.* Won Park County Environmental Council's 2019 Ltown Soup Competition, towards the purchase of skis, poles, and boots for GPS winter programs.* Funded and coordinated a week-long Missoula Childrens Theatre workshop,with support from Gardiner Resort Area District.* Housing initiative begun with support by the Park County Community Foundation and other partners is well under way. Ground surveys have been conducted and plans are being drafted to build affordable housing for teachers and their families on GPS property.
