THE MISSION OF THE ORGANIZATION IS TO PROTECT AND ENHANCE MONTANA RANCH FAMILIES' ABILITY TO GROW AND DELIVER SAFE, HEALTHY, ENVIRONMENTALLY WHOLESOME BEEF TO THE WORLD.THE ORGANIZATION WORKS TO ACHIEVE THEIR MISSION BY REPRESENTING MEMBERS AND THE POLICY THEY SET AT THE MONTANA LEGISLATURE AND U.S. CONGRESS, WITH GOVERNMENTAL AGENCIES, IN THE MEDIA, AND BY PROMOTING THE WORK OF MONTANA'S FAMILY RANCHERS TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC.THE ANNUAL CONFERENCE AND MIDYEAR MEETING IS HELD TO SET ASSOCIATION POLICY THAT GUIDES THE ASSOCIATION THROUGH THE YEAR. WHILE THE MAIN FOCUS OF CONFERENCES AND MEETINGS IS FOR THE SETTING OF POLICY THE MEETING IS ALSO A NETWORKING OPPORTUNITY FOR THE MSGA MEMBERSHIP.
CATTLE DIRECTORY, MAGAZINE AND NEWSLETTER:THE MONTANA SEEDSTOCK AND COMMERCIAL CATTLE DIRECTORY, PUBLISHED EACH AUGUST BY THE MONTANA STOCKGROWERS ASSOCIATION, IS A RESOURCE FOR MONTANA CATTLE. THIS PREMIER DIRECTORY IS MAILED TO MSGA MEMBERS, LIVESTOCK MARKETS, FEEDERS, AND CATTLE BUYERS ACROSS THE U.S. IT IS ALSO DISTRIBUTED AT THE NUMEROUS NATIONAL AND STATEWIDE TRADE SHOWS, SEEDSTOCK SALES, AND OTHER NATIONAL STATE AGRICULTURAL EVENTS.MONTANA STOCKGROWERS PRODUCES A DIGITAL MONTHLY PUBLICATION FOR MEMBERS FEATURING ASSOCIATION NEWS, EVENTS, AND ANNOUNCEMENTS FOR THE MONTANA RANCHING COMMUNITY.
