Organizations Filed Purposes:
To promote and endorse cross-country skiing in all its forms. We educate people of all ages about the benefits of skiing, sponsor races for all ability levels and aid the school team with coaching,
Supported 15 members of the Junior Cross-country ski program (ages 7-18) by funding divisional membership fees, transportation expenses, race registration fees, and meals and lodging at divisional and national level competitions.
Sponsored and conducted competetive events hosting over 2000 athletes of all ages. Hosted Yellowstone Ski Festival, ,Junior, and Master's Races, 1 Spam Cup race,2 biathlon races, Junior National Qualifier races, and a summer Mountain Bike Biathlon. Sponsored community outings:"Taste of the Trails" for participants. Co-Sponsored Free Ski Day, Try-It Biathlon, and National Trails Work Day with USDA Forest Service for over 60 participants.
We provide grooming of the community trail system. We receive rural community grants to assist with the expense of paying the operator for his time and use of grooming equipment.
