Organizations Filed Purposes: YHC seeks to understand, preserve, and interpret the unique cultural heritage of West Yellowstone and its connection to the development of transportation, the Union Pacific Rail Road, and visitation to Yellowstone National Park. YHC operates a museum

Operated museum in the Historic Union Pacific Train Depot serving 20,650 visitors from the US, Canada, and over 50 foreign countries. New Exhibits: 60th anniversary of the 1959 earthquake. Over 30 guns on loan from Bozeman Gem & Mineral Club

Preservation: The second phase of the Dining Lodge Window Restoration Project was completed. The Mammoth Room Clerestory windows were installed. Started the process of digitizing 1,000 historic photos to be uploaded on-line as part of the Montana Memory Project.

Hosted the local third and fifth grade classes in October at museum close. In June, hosted U of M professor Doug MacDonald to 65 listeners to speak about his book: "Before Yellowstone: Native American Archeology" Began publication of "Yellowstone History Journal"
