Organizations Filed Purposes:
TO PROVIDE AN ATMOSPHERE OF SUPPORT IN A THERAPEUTIC AND STRUCTURED ENVIRONMENT FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURIES AS WELL AS TO ENCOURAGE THESE INDIVIDUALS TO REACH THEIR HIGHEST LEVEL OF INDEPENDENCE AND TO ENHANCE THEIR QUALITY OF LIFE.
TO PROVIDE SUPPORT AND THERAPEUTIC LIVING FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURIES.
FACILITY TO PROVIDE CARE FOR INDIVIDUALS WITH ACQUIRED BRAIN INJURIES; IN SEPTEMBER 2016, THESE BRAIN INJURY RECOVERY SERVICES WERE SUBSTANTIALLY EXPANDED WITH THE OPENING OF A NEW, ADDITIONAL FACILITY. IN 2018, STUDENT PRACTICUMS FOR MSU ART THERAPY STUDENTS WERE AVAILABLE.
WHITEHALL PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM, INITIATED IN JULY 2011 THROUGH A GRANT WITH THE MONTANA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION, PROVIDES TRANSPORTATION SERVICES TO RESIDENTS OF THE WHITEHALL AREA WHO ARE ELDERLY OR DISABLED AND THEN THE GENERAL PUBLIC.THIS PROGRAM IS PRIMARILY FUNDED THROUGH GRANTS AND DONATIONS, THE LARGEST GRANT BEING FROM THE MONTANA DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION. IN 2019, MT DOT PROVIDED $161,276 IN GRANT FUNDS TO THIS PROGRAM. VARIOUS OTHER DONORS CONTRIBUTED APPROXIMATELY $36,600 TO THE PROGRAM. THE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM ALSO RECEIVED IN-KIND DONATIONS OF $6,646 DURING THE YEAR.
