Organizations Filed Purposes:
Our mission is to fund Kindergarten through Grade 12 students with scholarships to enable them to experience camps in academics, arts, and sports. The number and amount of scholarships shall be determined annually.
Despite the shutdown caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, the Douglas DiCenzo Memorial Camp Fund was able to help 62 different children attend 25 different camps, and help fund an additional Camp program for young girls at risk. Fundraising programs and activities already in place continued successfully throughout the year. It is anticipated that the need for help sending children to Camp in 2021 and 2022 will be greater than normal, as the restrictions caused by the COVID-19 pandemic are relaxed. The additional funds raised in 2020 should allow the Camp Fund meet this greater need.
