Organizations Filed Purposes:
The mission of the League of NH Craftsmen is to advance, cultivate and champion excellence in fine craft. We envision that through our work: People regard craft as inspirational, meaningful, and relevant to their lives as individuals and as community members. Makers of fine craft are inspired, enriched, supported, and honored. The League is widely respected across New England and the country as a leader in craft.
The annual Craftsmen's Fair began in 1933 and runs for nine days, featuring the juried work of approximately 350 members with sales booths, educational workshops, demonstrations and exhibitions attracting over 20,000 visitors annually.
The League of New Hampshire Craftsmen's gallery is dedicated to the exhibition of work by its juried members and invited or affiliated craftsmen and artists featuring three to four exhibitions per year, attracting over 2,000 visitors annually.
Standards and Education is a jury program that nurtures the development of New Hampshire fine craftsmen together with education programs and grants for non-member craftsmen, lifelong learners and the public.
