HANNAH GRIMES MARKETPLACE. PROVIDES BUSINESS SUPPORT TO LOCAL ARTISANS AND FARMERS. THESE LOCAL PRODUCERS OFTEN LACK THE BUSINESS SKILLS NEEDED TO MAKE THEIR CRAFT ECONOMICALLY VIABLE. THE MODEL IS A SELF FUNDING RETAIL CLASSROOM. IT IS A FOR PROFIT BUSINESS RUN BY ITS OWN BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND IS FULLY OWNED BY HANNAH GRIMES CENTER. THE HANNAH GRIMES CENTER WORKS CLOSELY TO PROVIDE BUSINESS EDUCATION TO THE MEMBERS THROUGH WORKSHOPS, COACHING AND ONE-ON-ONE ASSITANCE.
WORKSHOPS, IN-DEPTH PROGRAMS AND COACHING. THESE INCLUDE FREE WORKSHOPS THAT ADVANCE A CURRICULUM THAT SERVES A DIVERSE ARRAY OF BUSINESSES COVERING A WIDE RANGE OF BUSINESS TOPICS. iT ALSO INCLUDES A MONTHLY BUSINESS INCUBATOR PROGRAM AND SEVEN WEEK STARTUP LAB, ADVANCE BUSINESS TRAINING - PAID WORKSHOPS THAT OFFER IN-DEPTH LEARNING AS WELL AS FREE, ONE-ON-ONE COACHING SESSIONS TO HELP ENTREPRENEURS LEARN INDIVIDUALIZED STRATEGIES AND SKILLS TO SOLVE PROBLEMS AND PLAN FOR SUCCESS.
NETWORKING EVENTS, WEEKLY E-NEWSLETTER, ACCESS TO FINANCING AND A VARIETY OF COMMUNITY PROJECTS TO FOSTER A LEARNING ENVIRONMENT. RECOGNIZING THAT STRONG NETWORKING SKILLS CORRELATES WITH LEARNING AND ENTREPRENEURIAL SUCCESS, WE HAVE SEVERAL NETWORKING EVENTS EACH YEAR. IN ADDITION TO EDUCATING BUSINESSES TO PREPARE THEM TO ACCESS TRADITIONAL AND NON-TRADITIONAL FINANCING. WE PARTNER WITH NH COMMUNITY LOAN FUND, MEDC, KIVA ZIP AND PRIVATE INDIVIDUALS TO HELP BUSINESS OF ALL SIZES AND STAGES TO CONNECT EFFECTIVELY TO THE FINANCING THEY NEED.
