Animal Village NM is the state's largest no-kill animal shelter, providing a safe, healthy enviroment for death-row pets rescued from municipal facilities. This reduces the burden of euthanasia, and our intensive health protocols result in healthy, spayed or neutered, microchipped pets being adopted into homes across the country and Canada. Our free pet food bank distributes thousands of pounds of food to needy pet guardians, also reducing the numbers of pets entering municipal facilities, and as we re-resuce our pets when ababdoned after adoption, that burden is also reduced.
