The Alzheimers Association of New Mexico is a voluntary health organization in alzheimers care. It provides support and research, information and referral, education, seminars, support groups, care consultation, safety services, respite, early stage alzheimers needs assessments and coping tools, and most importantly, advocacy to alzheimers patients and their families. The organization assisted approximately 600 respite care clients, and thousands of New Mexicans who searched for assistance and advice when faced with this terrible, debilitating disease.
