Organizations Filed Purposes:
To provide assistance to Disabled American Veterans, their families and survivors. We assist with transportation to and from medical appointments and provide assistance in filing for benefit claims.
The DAV operates a POV transportation program to assist Veterans to and from scheduled medical appointments.
The DAV provides cash assistance to Veterans in need. This fiscal year we provided 21 Veteran/families with direct cash assistance for: Lodging/Utilities, Travel/Auto, and items related to job search and preparation for employment.
Professionally trained service officers educate Veterans/families about program eligibility and assist with filing their claims for benefits.
