Santa Fe Bone Symposium - The Santa Fe Bone Symposium is an annual Forum devoted to advances in the science and economics of osteoporosis, metabolic bone disease, and assessment of skeletal health. This meeting is for healthcare providers, scientists, and researchers with a special interest in bone disease, and for bone densitometry technologists who seek a high level of knowledge in their field. Attendance is about 250. Enduring material includes proceedings published in medical journals, online archived videos for CME, and newsletters. This meeting has been offered annually since 2000, but was postponed in 2020 due to the COVID19 global pandemic.
New Mexico Bone Club - The New Mexico Bone Club has sponsored scientific presentations with CME 3 to 4 times per year since 1997. These focus on clinical aspects of osteoporosis and metabolic bone disease. Attendance has ranged from about 30 to 100 for face-to-face meetings and more with transition of the meetings to a virtual online platform.
