Little Sisters of the Poor care for the elderly poor, in the spirit of humble service which was received from St Jeanne Jugan. They welcome the elderly as would Jesus Christ himself and serve them with love until death.
Little Sisters of the Poor, Villa Guadulupe receives monetary funds from the Navajo Nation per a contract serving an average of 18 Navajo residents in the home, who receive nursing care around the clock and assistance with daily activities, etc. This contract is to be served until each resident has expired or needs to leave the home for a higher level of care, etc,. The contract is renewed annually and is received on a monthy basis throughout the year. It is invoiced each month and paid by the tribe the following month.
