Organizations Filed Purposes: The purpose of the organization is to offer amateur sports programs through a volunteer base for all people; to promote good sportsmanship and good citizenship; to conduct programs that provide for, enhance and strengthen participation and competition for amateur athletes; to work with other sports organizations to benefit amateur athletes. Our Club's primary focus is n the sport of volleyball but we support and promote other sports such as baseball, soccer and basketball.

Tryouts: Our competitive season begins with tryouts where players are placed on teams which best match their age group, skill level, ability to travel and their goals. During the 2018 2019 season 154 players attended tryouts and 6 teams were formed. Three tryouts were held based on age groups of 12-13, 14-15, 16-18. Players are offered a team placement or the opportunity to be placed on a waiting list. Inevitably there are players who don't make the team which is where our non-season programs come in to play.

Volleyball Season: During the 2018-2019 Fiscal Year 6 teams were formed and assigned a practice schedule where skills are taught and practiced. To practice skills in a competitive environment a series of tournaments is scheduled. Depending on the teams age and skill level an appropriate schedule is designed which may include: Locally sponsored tournaments in Las Cruces and El Paso; Sun Country Region Bid Qualifiers held in New Mexico and Texas; Sun Country Regional Championships in Albuquerque; National Qualifiers in Denver and Texas and an AAU Regional Tournament held in Phoenix. 61 players. Throughout the season coaches evaluate and provide feedback to players and parents

Non-Season Programs (296 individuals): Youth Academy: where 178 participants participated in four Youth Academy sessions for 4-6 weeks once or twice per week where Participants learned: Proper overhand and underhand passing technique; Court movement; Attacking skills; Proper setting technique and footwork; Defensive skills; And Much, Much More!!! Younger athletes were taught to play using pass-set-hit to develop these important volleyball skills at a young age. All these skills were taught in a fun but challenging environment. Adult Leagues: Adult Leagues had 96 participants in indoor recreational volleyball for 8 co-ed teams. Other Clinics: served an additional 19 individuals and 17 more in the All Skills Camp.
