Cruces Creatives works to foster economic development, further education, support the arts, protect the environment, strengthen social connections, and advance science and technology by connecting people with the tools, training and community to make practically anything.
Makerspace committed to fostering economic development, furthering education, supporting the arts, protecting the environment, strengthening social connections, and advancing science and technology in Dona Ana County
Provide a work space for people in Dona Ana County to explore creative endeavors learn new skills by hosting over 550 skill-building classes and workshops for the community and led STEM and arts education for 140 children
Through the Job shop, Cruces Creatives offered design and fabrication services to individuals and organizations while providing employment and on the job training, especially to people who have had difficulty finding employment. This promotes economic development, advanced science and technology and promotes practical education in Dona County
With support from Foundations, Cruces Creatives led the Seeding Regnerative Agriculture Project which organized peer-to-peer knowledge sharing and developed technolgies to help New Mexico farmers and ranchers implement more sustainable practices as well as other small foundation grant funded projects
