ReadWest provides quality, one-to-one tutoring to adults seeking to transform their lives through enhanced literacy.
The highlights of ReadWest's accomplishments this year were, 1. providing 264 adults with free, one-to-one tutoring to improve their reading, writing and speaking skils, 2. training 68 new volunteers to be ESL tutors, bringing our total to 170 active volunteers, and 3. after being matched with a tutor, 171 learners showed advancement in their literacy levels and 240 learners accomplished at least one of their personal literacy goals.
