GRANTMAKING: - PROVIDED RAPID COVID-19 RELIEF FUNDING AND SUPPORT THROUGH OUR GENDER EQUITY EMERGENCY FUND TO ORGANIZATIONS LED BY, OR SERVING WOMEN AND GIRLS OF COLOR, AS WELL AS LOW INCOME, RURAL AND IMMIGRANT COMMUNITIES STATEWIDE THROUGHOUT THE YEAR; - INCREASED PHILANTHROPIC INVESTMENT THROUGH GRANTMAKING, CAPACITY BUILDING, AND COLLABORATIVE PARTNERSHIPS, WITH AND FOR ORGANIZATIONS AND GROUPS WORKING ON GENDER JUSTICE AND HEALING, WORKING TO SUPPORT ADOLESCENT GIRLS OF COLOR, AND WORKING ON HEALTHY MASCULINITIES INITIATIVES; - AWARDED 44 GENDER EQUITY EMERGENCY FUND GRANTS TO ORGANIZATIONS STATEWIDE FOR COVID-19 RELATED SUPPORT AND RELIEF; - CONDUCTED A 4TH YEAR OF REGRANTING FOR THE GENDER JUSTICE AND HEALING GRANT PROGRAM TO 12 ORGANIZATIONS STATEWIDE; - AWARDED SEVEN GRANTS TO ORGANIZATIONS SERVING ADOLESCENT GIRLS OF COLOR ACROSS NEW MEXICO; - AWARDED THREE DISCRETIONARY GRANTS TO VARIOUS ORGANIZATIONS AND AGENCIES SUPPORTING GENDER JUSTICE AND HEALING.
TRAINING & EDUCATION: - STRENGTHENED THE GENDER JUSTICE MOVEMENT AND EFFORTS IN NEW MEXICO BY PARTNERING PRIMARILY WITH ORGANIZATIONS LED BY, OR SERVING WOMEN AND GIRLS OF COLOR, AS WELL AS LOW INCOME AND RURAL COMMUNITIES WORKING TO SUPPORT GENDER JUSTICE IN NEW MEXICO; - SERVED AS A HUB AND RESOURCE BY USING OUR ROLE AS A STATEWIDE PROGRAM AND FUND TO INCREASE THE PROFILE AND AMPLIFY THE EFFORTS OF THOSE WORKING AT THE GRASSROOTS LEVEL AROUND GENDER JUSTICE AND HEALING INCLUDING GROUPS WORKING ON HEALTHY MASCULINITY; - SHIFTED THE NARRATIVE AROUND INTERSECTIONAL FEMINISM, PATRIARCHY, SEXISM, HEALTHY MASCULINITY, AND OTHER GENDER JUSTICE ISSUES IN NEW MEXICO THROUGH STRATEGIC COMMUNICATIONS AND SOCIAL MEDIA CAMPAIGNS; - SUPPORTED A COALITION OF ORGANIZATIONS TO PROVIDE ANTI-OPPRESSION AND GENDER JUSTICE TRAINING TO ADOLESCENT GIRLS OF COLOR; - WORKED IN COALITION WITH PARTNERS AROUND THE STATE TO CREATE AN INFORMAL HEALTHY MASCULINITIES COLLABORATIVE, TO BEGIN DEVELOPING A HEALTHY MASCULINITIES TOOLKIT AND COMMUNICATIONS CAMPAIGN IN 2021-2022; - DEVELOPED AND LAUNCHED TWO COMMUNICATIONS CAMPAIGNS FOCUSED ON SHIFTING THE NARRATIVE AROUND GENDER, PATRIARCHY, COLONIZATION AND RACISM IN NEW MEXICO; - HELD TWO VIRTUAL WEBINARS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC; ONE FOCUSED ON GENDER EQUITY AND THE COVID PANDEMIC, AND THE OTHER FOCUSED ON THE POLITICS OF GENDER JUSTICE AND HEALING; - PARTICIPATED AS SPEAKERS AT THE 2020 SANTA FE WOMEN'S MARCH.
