Organizations Filed Purposes: The Richardson Center for Global Engagement promotes global peace and dialogue by identifying and working on areas of opportunity for engagement and citizen-diplomacy in countries and communities not usually open to traditional diplomatic channels.

International Peace and Dialogue program engages directly with foreign leaders, governments and regimes:Political Prisoners: In 2019, the Richardson Center handled 26 cases of hostages, political prisoners and unlawfully detained individuals, including the public release of Princeton student, Xiyue Wang from Iran, and the release of two Reuters journalists from Myanmar. In addition, the Richardson Center facilitated and hosted private and public events advancing resolution of cases and awareness in the form of Congressional briefing on the Hill; public and private events in Los Angeles; six meetings of the FBI Hostage Recovery Fusion Cell; and active participation in the Doha Forum. Myanmar/Bangladesh: In 2019, the Richardson Center continued its work supporting the Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh, including facilitating an entrepreneurs delegation to the camp.Cuba: In 2019, the Richardson Center took a political exchange delegation to Cuba as well as a high profile visit by the Governor.

Establishing Wildlife Program in Africa The Center launched a program in 2013 to assist and boost efforts aimed at securing a safe and secure future for threatened African wildlife.In 2019, the Richardson Center partnered with Space for Giants to repatriate and protect 30,000 Angolan Elephants in Botswana. Also, the Center partnered with Saving the Wild, on judicial reform to protect wildlife in Southern Africa.
