THE SANTA FE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM OFFERS REGULAR WEEKLY PROGRAMS AND SPECIAL EVENTS OVERFLOWING WITH EXPERIENTIAL, INQUIRY-BASED HANDS-ON ACTIVITIES THAT ALIGN WITH NEW MEXICO STATE CURRICULUM STANDARDS. THESE ARE DESIGNED TO OFFER SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, ARTS AND MATH (STEAM) ACTIVITIES THAT BUILD UPON A CHILD'S NATURAL SENSE OF JOY AND DISCOVERY, TO CULTIVATE HABITS OF INQUIRY ABOUT THE WORLD AND HOW THINGS WORK. APPROXIMATELY 50,000 VISITORS SERVED.

STARGAZER, OUR PORTABLE PLANETARIUM HAD ITS MAIDEN FLIGHT IN FEBRUARY 2018, AND BY MARCH 2020 22,825 STUDENTS HAD "FLOWN TO THE STARS" FOR AN INNOVATIVE BILINGUAL STEM LEARNING EXPERIENCE. STARGAZER TRAVELS TO PUBLIC SCHOOLS THROUGHOUT NORTHERN NEW MEXICO, AND ALSO PRESENTS SHOWS AT THE MUSEUM, SUMMER CAMPS, AND OUTREACH LOCATIONS THROUGHOUT THE COMMUNITY.

THE SANTA FE CHILDREN'S MUSEUM CONTINUES TO PROVIDE THE VERY BEST CAMP EXPERIENCE IN SANTA FE. CAMPS INCORPORATE COMPLEX PROJECTS THAT CHILDREN BUILD OVER THE COURSE OF THE WEEK. THESE TEACH STEM AND ART CONCEPTS, AS WELL AS PRACTICAL SKILLS RANGING FROM SOLDERING TO CODING TO CARPENTRY. CAMPERS LOVE THE PROJECTS, AND THEY COME BACK FOR THE FRIENDS AND FUN!
