Organizations Filed Purposes: The Spanish Colonial Arts Society collects, preserves, and exhibits the Spanish Colonial Art of New Mexico, and educates the public about its related cultures and living traditions.

The Spanish Colonial Arts Society collects, preserves, and exhibits the Spanish Colonial Art of New Mexico, operating a museum, hosting two markets that exhibits artists work and offering educational programs for both adults and children.

The Society operates the museum of Spanish Colonial Art which is the only museum in the United States dedicated exclusively to exhibiting and interpreting Spanish Colonial Art. during the year, the museum continued to collect, preserve, and exhibit unique pieces of Spanish Colonial Art.

The Society also conducts the internationally acclaimed Traditional Spanish Market and Winter Market in which New Mexico Hispanic Artists exhibit and sell their work.

The Society also offers a wide range of educational programs for both children and adults. The educational programs include hands-on art workshops, lectures, and discussions that cover topics of history, art, culture, and literature. The Society also conducted youth outreach programs in schools where children from at-risk families learn the history, aesthetics, and technique involved in making traditional Spanish Art.
