TREC HAS A VISION OF LEADERS, ORGANIZATIONS, AND DIVERSE COALITIONS WORKING EFFECTIVELY FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION, CONSERVATION, AND SUSTAINABILITY IN WESTERN NORTH AMERICA. TREC CULTIVATES EFFECTIVENESS BY PROVIDING PREMIER CAPACITY-BUILDING SERVICES, DELIVERED IN-DEPTH AND OVER TIME.
ORGANIZATIONAL EFFECTIVENESS PROGRAM AND CUSTOM SERVICES: TREC PROVIDED HIGHLY INTENSIVE, CUSTOMIZED TRAINING, CONSULTING, AND COACHING TO OVER 100 ORGANIZATIONS IN TARGETED REGIONS WITHIN WESTERN NORTH AMERICA. AS A RESULT OF TREC'S SERVICES, CLIENT ORGANIZATIONS DEVELOPED SYSTEMS AND TOOLS THAT ENABLED THEM TO USE THEIR RESOURCES MORE EFFICIENTLY IN MEETING THEIR MISSIONS. THIS PROGRAM ALLOWED ORGANIZATIONS TO RECEIVE HIGH-QUALITY ASSISTANCE THAT THEY WOULD NOT OTHERWISE BE ABLE TO AFFORD IN AREAS SUCH AS BOARD DEVELOPMENT, STRATEGIC PLANNING, ORGANIZATIONAL ASSESSMENTS, DIVERSE, EQUITABLE AND INCLUSIVE CULTURE DEVELOPMENT, STAFF DEVELOPMENT, HUMAN RESOURCE MANAGEMENT, AND FISCAL MANAGEMENT.
LEADERSHIP PROGRAM: OUR YEAR-LONG TREC LEADERSHIP PROGRAM ADDRESSED THE CHALLENGES AND NEEDS FACING NON-PROFIT LEADERS IN WESTERN NORTH AMERICA. PARTICIPANTS GAINED SKILLS FOR MANAGING STAFF, LEADING TEAMS, TIME MANAGEMENT, STRATEGIC PLANNING, AND PERSONNEL MANAGEMENT. OVER THE 12 MONTHS, TREC HELD SIX WEEK-LONG IN-PERSON LEADERSHIP TRAINING SESSIONS, EACH WITH 15-20 PARTICIPANTS. IN ADDITION TO THE TRAINING SESSION, EACH PARTICIPANT RECEIVED FEEDBACK AND REVIEW AND FOLLOW-UP ONE-ON-ONE EXECUTIVE COACHING. TREC ALSO HELD A VIRTUAL LEADERSHIP TRAINING FOR WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP FOR TEN WOMEN LEADERS FROM TEN ORGANIZATION OVER FIVE SESSIONS.
COLLABORATIONS PROGRAM: THE COLLABORATIONS PROGRAM PROVIDED EXPERT ASSISTANCE TO ORGANIZATIONS IN PLANNING AND WORKING WITH OTHER ORGANIZATIONS TO COLLABORATE EFFECTIVELY. TREC PROVIDED FACILITATION OF MEETINGS OF COALITIONS, AND CONDUCTED TRAININGS, BOTH IN-PERSON AND IN WEBINARS, ON BEST PRACTICES FOR COLLABORATIONS. TREC HELD A THREE-DAY TRAINING TO SUPPORT GRANTEES IN DEEPENING THEIR UNDERSTANDING OF INDIGENOUS RECONCILIATION AND THEIR WORK IN THIS AREA, 27 INDIVIDUALS FROM 12 ORGANIZATIONS PARTICIPATED. ALSO, IN 2019, TREC HELD A NEGOTIATION TRAINING WORKSHOP FOR 21 INDIVIDUALS FROM 18 ORGANIZATIONS AND AN. TREC ALSO PROVIDED A COLLABORATION WORKSHOP FOR 18 INDIVIDUALS REPRESENTING FIVE COLLABORATIONS FROM 16 ORGANIZATIONS.
