Educating youth in the sport of rodeo
The Texoma Junior Rodeo Association (TJRA) is the home of 250 youth(under the age of 19) members who compete in the sport of rodeo. Prizes are awarded to each member who compete in at least 8 rodeos and are ranked in the top 15. Each year, the TJRA awards 35 saddles and many other prizes. All other programs serve to benefit the rodeo. The concession stand, booth rentals, gate fees, and ect are done to help pay for the prizes given away at the finals rodeo.
