The Referral Center (TRC) operates as a Comprehensive Community Addiction Recovery Center (CCARC) and has several levels of treatment to include: inpatient and ambulatory withdrawal management, outpatient and intensive outpatient treatment, residential treatment, screening and referral, case management and aftercare services. TRC is certified by Oklahoma Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services (ODMHSAS) and is accredited by CARF. TRC admitted 1,800 patients to the programs and completed more than 2,400 screenings in fiscal year 2020.Program service statement continued on Schedule O.TRC external stakeholder, consumer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and board satisfaction surveys resulted in more than 88% responses in good and very good categories of survey questions. The consumer and staff safety protocols for Covid-19 work related practices were updated to abide by all the CDC protocols. Medical/Nursing unit practices were streamlined for better communication, prompt medical care treatment of the consumers, improved case management and aftercare referrals and follow ups. Medication error rates dropped to zero in all four quarters of fiscal year 2020. Internal referrals to outpatient department from discharged inpatient withdrawal management patients increased by 10% compared to the previous year.TRC improved its education curriculum for the inpatient unit. Educational groups and outside self-help meetings are modified on ongoing basis to improve the overall curriculum. Nursing staff will continue to encourage and motivate the patients to go to groups, perform activities of daily living, receive education of medications/detoxification symptoms, smoking cessation, and overall holistic health.TRC maintained to minimize staff turnover rate to less than 12% for successive years. Critical incidents for fiscal year 2020 have decreased by 10% over the previous year.TRC had a very successful fundraising campaign called "Voices of Recovery Luncheon". There were more than 200 participants and TRC raised more than $40,000 from the event.
