Feeding the Spirit, Soul and Body of those in need.
Provide grocery assistance, meals, and access to clothing and household goods to low income families, elderly and handicapped individuals.
Loaves and Fishes is committed to fighting hunger in the community. Every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday our food ministry provides a hot meal and groceries to families and individuals who are in need. Our average grocery distribution amounts to over 2 tons of food each month or the equivalent of 650 full grocery carts. In 2019, Loaves and Fishes served over 5,600 meals and assisted 7,680 households with groceries.
Turning Point Thrift Stores serves a dual purpose. Proceeds from the items given to the store by our generous donors help support Loaves and Fishes fulfill its ministry to those in need. Thrift Store products are priced so that guests of Loaves and Fishes and others living on low or fixed income can afford clothing, shoes and household items. In 2019, Turning Point processed over 2,146 individual sales and contributed over $26,000 to Loaves and Fishes.
