Tulsa Hub Syndicate is a syndicate of volunteers on a mission to change lives through cycling. It is the only non-profit organization in Oklahoma providing certified bicycling-for-transportation education, refurbished bicycles, safety gear, and follow-up support to people in poverty, people with physical and mental disabilities, and people who are otherwise disenfranchised in our community.
The Organization has a mission to change lives for individuals who are disenfranchised in our community through cycling.
The Organization's programs equiped, educated, and empowered underserved populations through bicycle-for-transportation programming. After completing required classes covering safety, traffic laws, and maintenance, program participants are eligible to receive a refurbished bicycle. During 2020, 87 individuals received a refurbished bicycle. Recipients have reported using these refurbished bicycles to obtain employment, go back to school, run errands, and otherwise make moves toward improved self-reliance.
