Camp Discovery had a remarkable year in 2019, serving over 3,500 students, teachers, and families in central South Carolina with both on site programs and outreach at schools, as well as community events. Camp Discovery created the Discovery to Go Programs to extend the learning established in Discovery Day Field Studies. Camp Discovery became the lead camp pilot site for NASA's GLOBE Citizen Science Program. Our executive director earned the distinguished honor of being name Community Outreach person of the year by the Blythewood Chamber of Commerce.
