Provide financial assistance and service to the band programs at D.W. Daniel High School and R.C. Edwards Middle Schoo;
In total, approximately 350 students actively participate in D.W. Daniel High School and R.C. Edwards Middle School bands. The high school marching band is a competitive organiation and the Daniel-Edwards band boosters financially support participation in shows and competitions against other schools across South Carolina. As the marching band season ends, the Winter Guard competitions begin. The middle school 6th grade band participates annually in the Carowinds Music Day Festival, an adjuicated music festival for begiiner band students. The national music festival takes the Edwards Middle School festival band on a multi-day musical and cultural excursion.
