The American College of Building Arts determines the recipients of the award to that school. The WLI also makes contributions to 501(c)(3) organizations after approval by the Board of Officers and the Charity Committee. Additional grants may be awarded to widows of former members, children or grandchildren of members of the WLI who are enrolled in college after approval of the Scholarship Committee.
