We advise, amplify and advocate for strengthening and unifying the arts and history community of Columbia, SC.
Our organization was able to accomplish a great deal prior to the pandemic and during the lockdown. We worked with ColaTown Bike Collective, School for the Deaf and Blind for installation of the I Love You Hand sculpture located in the Vista, facilitated Richland Countys Water Dept. Storm Drain Initiative, supported fundraising for the Aaron Graves mural, supported artist selection for Columbia Crafts mural, the assembly of Anastasia and Friends Heart sculpture, facilitated the TV mural for Market on Main and assisted the City of Columbia Mayors office and Coca Consolidation with the mural project for the Waverly Community. We provided chalk delivery service for the community eager to get outside and create. We partnered with Richland Library, Free Times and ScenesSC to create the 1 or 2 Series featuring local musicians performing one or two sets live. We developed a new arts daily, Arts and Cultural Delivery highlighting cultural bit from our community through e-mail. We also partnered with the SC Arts Commision on Poetry Out Loud and the Kadenze program.
