The Fort Mill History Museum accomplished its not-for-profit goals by obtaining sponsors and producing our two signature tours including a Historic Homes Christmas Tour and our Lanterns & Legends Tour, hosted more than 1,200 students, and reopened our new and improved museum galleries. The museum's mission is to promote the collection, preservation, educational interpretation, and display of those artifacts, documents, and events most representative of Fort Mill, South Carolina - its pre-history and history, its people and institutions, and its cultural and economic development continue to be accomplished.
