IN ADDITION TO PROVIDING HEALTH CARE TO STUDENTS AND STAFF, THESE HEALTH CARE PROFESSIONALS ALSO SERVE THE COMMUNITY THROUGH BI-WEEKLY MOBILE HEALTH CLINICS AND IN-HOME VISITS. OUR MINISTRY ARM IN GHANA, OPERATES A COMMUNITY HEALTH PROGRAM OVERSEEN BY A GHANAIAN PHYSICIAN AND AIMED AT REDUCING THE INFANT MORTALITY RATE IN THE KWAHU REGION OF GHANA. THAT RATE IS CURRENTLY APPROX. 30 PER 1000 CHILDREN WHO DO NOT SURVIVE UNTIL THEIR 1ST BIRTHDAY. GHG PROVIDES EDUCATION AND EQUIPMENT TO TWO CLINICS AND TWO HOSPITALS IN THE REGION IN ITS EFFORT TO IMPROVE PRE-NATAL CARE, DELIVERY TECHNIQUES AND PEDIATRIC CARE. IN RESPONSE TO THE COVID-19 PANDEMIC, WE PROVIDED NECESSARY PROTECTIVE MEDICAL EQUIPMENT AND SUPPLIES (I.E. MASKS, GLOVES, SANITIZER, OXIMETERS, ETC) AND INSTITUTED STRICT QUARANTINE MEASURES. GHG REPORTED ZERO POSITIVE COVID-19 CASES BECAUSE OF THESE PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES.
