APL mission is to provide a safe shelter for homeless , abused or abandoned pets in the Columbia, SC area. These pets are given a chance of living a normal happy life through our adoption programs.

APL pays to provide a safe shelter for homeless, abused or abandoned pets in the Columbia, SC Area. These animals are given a chance of living a normal happy life through our asoption programs. These animals are kept out of local shelters, saving their lives and help reduce the costs to the local shelters.
Before adoption all animals are spayed or neutered,microchipped and all shots are updated. In additon all animals at the shelter are given health care as needed.
APL adoption program adopts animals from our shelter to forever homes. In additon APL partners with local businesses, for adoptions to be held offsite, thus allowing for more adoptions.
