Organizations Filed Purposes: To promote historic preservation, education and patriotism

The SC State Society funds various national & state projects such as the American History and Christopher Columbus essays, Outstanding History Teacher,Good Citizens Awards, Outstanding Chapter Regent, Outstanding Junior, & various other awards Contributions are given to the Tamassee DAR School, the Old Exchange Building, Camden Library & Archives and Children of the American Revolution.

The SC State Society holds an annual spring conference to conduct the business of the state society and to disseminate information to its members regarding state and national projects. A fall forum is held to provide workshops to educate the chapters.

The State Society funds various other projects to promote education, historic preservation, patriotism and service to veterans.
