Organizations Filed Purposes:
By use of the funds generated from operating a county fair, Berkeley County Argicultural Exposition has been able to provide needed financial support to three of the county's American Legion Posts [501(c)(19) organiztions]. These Posts, through the use of this additional financial support have been able to fully achieve their described missions. They have also been able to meet additional goals set by their boards to benefit their community.
The mission of this organization is to provide financial support to three of the American Legion Posts located in Berkeley County, SC.
Revenue generated from the sponsoring of a county fair, and more recently, from the sale of some of the organization's land to the local county government, has been used to provide much needed financial support to the three local area American Legion Posts. This additional support has allowed the Posts to fully support their various local programs and to help the State and National American Legion meet their goals and missions.
