Sidewalk Hope is a mobile children's church that makes weekly site visits year-round to inner-city housing developments in Spartanburg, SC. During 2019, Sidewalk Hope served four different housing developments and the children and families who lived there. (This included one new site addition in 2019 adding approximately 60 new children served.) Using a modified box truck with a drop-down side that converts into a stage and complete with video and sound media, Sidewalk Hope is able to take the gospel of Christ to the children directly where they live. Each visit consists of praise and worship, Biblical teaching, games and incentives, Scripture memorization, food, and individual or group prayer time. Sidewalk Hope currently serves 200-250 children in total each week.
