CHRISTIAN CAMP IN KOLENTSI, UKRAINE - Provided for the continued operation of our Christian camp in Kolentsi, Ukraine. This included 1 complete interior renovation of guest cottage 2 installation of six security cameras and security systems 3 replacement of multiple stolen appliances 4 replacement of approximately 800 meters of exterior fence on camp property, 5 welding and installation of a new front gate, two additional vehicle gates and four pedestrian gates 6 installation of a large generator to provide power to the entire camp property when the grid shuts down 7 replacement of roof on two cabins, 8 installation of above ground pool and 9 outreach to surrounding small villages with food and supplies for approximately sixty-five 65 at risk children, through our partnership with local Social Services.
RESCUE SHELTER IN KOLENTSI, UKRAINE - Funds were used to provide support for our Rescue Shelter, which houses at-risk children, and operated in partnership with the Ivankiv Region Department of Social Services in Ukraine. Between September1, 2019 and August 31, 2020 we provided residential care to 43 children in crisis, ranging in age from 2-18 years old. While living at the Resue Shelter, each child was enrolled in a local preschool or public school. They were totally provided for by Jeremiahs Hope, being maintained with clothing, medications, necessary medical check-ups and shots, and other necessities that arose. Funds also include the renovation of the first floor of the Rescue Shelter i.e. new carpet in bedrooms, new laminate in living room/kitchen, construction of new showers.
FOSTER HOME ION KOLENTSI, UKRAINE - Jeremiahs Hope provided support for our foster family, which is operated in partnership with the Ivankiv Region Department of Social Services in Ukraine. Between September1, 2019 and August 31, 2020, we provided residential care to 4 children. While living at the foster family, each child was enrolled in a local public school. They were totally provided for by Jeremiahs Hope, being maintained with clothing, medications, necessary medical check-ups and shots, and other necessities that arose. In June, a complete refresher of paint throughout the foster/orphan group home was applied, a trampoline installed and a picnic table built.
