To provide quality Montessori education to children of various economic, ethnic, and intellectual backgrounds in a supportive "parent-teacher-child" environment.
We have provided quality Montessori education for approximately 219 children ranging in age from 2 months to 12 years old. During the 2019-20 school year, The Montessori Academy adapted the traditional education programs to providing Montessori at Home and virtual classes for students due to the suspension of in person education programs.
We have provided before and after school care for approximately 79 children. During the 2019-20 fiscal year The Montessori Academy incorporated "outdoor chores" into the curriculum.
The Montessori Academy provided a summer Montessori program for approximately 14 elementary students. During the 2020 summer program The Montessori Academy provided virtual summer camps for elementary students that offered in-depth cultural experiences that are not covered during the academic school year. Tutoring was also offered to elementary students that needed to catch up to where they would have been had in person school been in session until May.
