To connect, equip, train and mobilize all people with a special emphasis on people of color, to advance God's Kingdom through global missions and outreach.
Although we were in the COVID-19 pandemic, Sowing Seeds of Joy made impact throughout the world by ministering to individuals, families and ministries either in person or virtually.Belize: Hosted members of a legacy Dance Team as they performed and shared information on educational topics, Black History on the three Harriet's and messages to thousands of students, faculty in the DFW Area. In addition, took a dance team to Belize who performed in front of live audiences and appeared on Christian radio and television. At these events we shart Evangecubes, Evangelism tracks, daily devotionals and Bibles were distributed. We also shared personal hygiene and educational supplies to hundreds of people.Brazil: Here our team ministered to couples/families through marriage and family counseling and reconciliation. We also took opportunities to share the Gospel, introduce trauma healing techniques that brought healing and reconiliation. Evangecubes, Evangelism tracks, daily devotionals and Bibles were distributed.We also started a Missionary Certification Program as a discipleship training curriculum to get African American, Blacks and people of color equipped and prepared for serving globally as missionaries. We held virtual seminars, webinars, our COO, Star Nelson, was a keynote speaker at a virtual conference,held Leadership Development Trainings, Missionaries Cultural Senstivity Trainings, Missionary Certification Training, Coaching Training and opened up two positions for interns/mentorship training.
