TAMEST brings the State's top scientific, academic and corporate minds together to further position Texas as a national research leader.
2019 Annual Conference: Nueroscience and Brain Health. The conference explored the groundbreaking research that could lead to advances in neuroscience and better brain health including neurodegeneration, addiction and the opioid crisis, neurological disease prevention, technological advances in mapping the brain, and neuroscience research priorities and challenges that lie ahead.
The O'Donnell Awards annually recognize rising Texas researchers who are addressing the essential role that science and technology play in society, and whose work meets the highest standards of exemplary professional performance, creativity and resourcefulness. Through these awards, TAMEST promotes broader awareness of the State's top achievers in medicine, engineering and science, and builds a stronger identity for Texas as an important desitnation and center of achievement in these fields. Every year, TAMEST recognizes these emerging researchers at its annual conference.
