Organizations Filed Purposes:
Three vocal groups provided opportunity for appreciation of excellence in music through concert performances, program talks, and notes. The organization aims to draw a wide audience and makes its concerts financially accessible to the Austin community.

Chorus Austin ensembles combined to perform the concert "On A Winter's Eve" featuring holiday favorites for audience participation and holiday spirit. The two ensembles also combined in June for Chorus Austin's first Pops concert.
Chorus Austin Chamber Ensemble (CE) is a 36-voice auditioned chorus. TWe began the season with songs of joy and celebration from across time and around the world, "How Can I Keep From Singing?" Chamber joined with Symphonic for "On a Winter's Eve." In the spring, we did a collaboration with local music partners "Revel," performed our annual "Southwest Voices," and performed as part of the "Pops" concert to end the year.Their season ended with the 6th Southwest Voices Concert featuring works from composers from the US southwest and featuring the premier of the winner of our Young Composers Competition.
Chorus Austin Symphonic Chorus (SC) is a 200-voice auditioned chorus that performs mostly large choral works. They enjoy a close relationship with the Austin Symphony Orchestra (ASO). We launched our season celebrating our Artistic Director Ryan Heller's 10-year anniversary with a "Celebrate the Masters" performance of major choral works with orchestra. Our annual December collaboration with the Austin Symphony Orchestra (ASO) of Handel's "Messiah" this year included 2 performances. Our most popular concert "On a Winter's Eve" concluded the fall season. In the spring, we performed our first ever "pops" concert to a sold-out crowd.
