CSD IS A DEAF-LED SOCIAL IMPACT ORGANIZATION WITH THE MISSION OF IDENTIFYING AND CULTIVATING OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEAF PEOPLE TO ACHIEVE SUCCESS THROUGH MULTIPLE APPROACHES - SERVICE DELIVERY, COMMUNICATION SOLUTIONS, INNOVATION ENGINEERING, IMPACT INVESTING AND COMMUNITY BUILDING.

CSD CONTACT CENTERS - RELAY SERVICES: WE ENABLE THOSE WHO ARE DEAF, DEAFBLIND, OR HARD OF HEARING TO HAVE ACCESS TELECOMMUNICATIONS SERVICES BY PROVIDING AN OPERATOR SERVICE THAT ALLOWS TEXT-TELEPHONE (TTY) OR OTHER ASSISTIVE DEVICE USERS TO COMMUNICATE WITH STANDARD VOICE TELEPHONE USERS THROUGH OUR SPECIALLY TRAINED RELAY OPERATORS OR CAPTIONERS. EQUIPMENT DISTRIBUTION SERVICES: WE DISTRIBUTE TELECOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT AND SERVICES TO INDIVIDUALS CERTIFIED AS HAVING DIFFICULTY USING THE TELEPHONE.
CSD NEIGHBORHOOD: AT CSD NEIGHBORHOOD, WE BELIEVE THAT TRUE SOCIETY CHANGE HAPPENS BY UPLIFTING AND CENTERING THOSE WHO ARE MOST VULNERABLE AND MARGINALIZED. CSD NEIGHBORHOOD PROVIDES PROGRAMS IN SEVERAL WAYS: 1. CSD LEARNS DEVELOPS ACCESSIBLE EDUCATIONAL RESOURCES IN ASL, EQUIPPING TEACHERS AND STUDENTS WITH TOOLS FOR SUCCESS. 2. CSD WORKS BOOSTS ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT BY TRAINING AND PREPARING EMPLOYERS AND DDBDDHH JOBSEEKERS FOR SUSTAINED WORKPLACE SUCCESS. 3. CSD UNITES FOCUSES ON ENSURING DDBDDHH MEMBERS WITH VARIOUS INTERSECTIONAL IDENTITIES ARE EQUIPPED WITH RESOURCES FOR CAPACITY BUILDING. 4. CSD SOUTH DAKOTA ENGAGES DIRECTLY, PROVIDING REGIONAL SERVICES SUCH AS HEALTH EDUCATION AND CAREER PREPAREDNESS IN AN AREA WHERE RESOURCES ARE SCARCE.
CSD SOCIAL VENTURE FUND: CSD SVF IS A BUSINESS INCUBATOR AND VENTURE CAPITAL FUND FOCUSED ON DEAF-LED AND -OWNED BUSINESSES. THE CSD SVF IS ON A MISSION TO INVEST IN AND MENTOR THESE BUSINESSES AND, AS A RESULT, ENSURE EVEN MORE OPPORTUNITIES FOR DEAF PEOPLE EVERYWHERE.
