Organizations Filed Purposes:
FCCLA promotes personal growth and leadership development to students that are enrolled in family and consumer sciences education. This is the only in-school organization with the family as its central focus and all activities focus on teaching students to be good family members, wage earners and community leaders.
The organization supports its membership by providing education resources and programs that promote the content in the family and consumer sciences curriculum. This organization sponsors regional, state and national conferences for members; leadership development conferences and training seminars for the members. All these activities provide educational opportunities and competitive events for the members.
