Organizations Filed Purposes:
The promotion of the threefold spiritual, mental and physical development of students of the University of Texas who are members or who are pledged to become members of the Texas Beta Chapter or Phi Delta Theta Fraternity. To specifically promote (a) the literary and educational advancement of deserving students and to assist them in completing their work (b) to strengthen and develop spirituality of young men by cultivating the principles of fraternal brotherhood (c) to improve educational facilities (d) to supplement the work of the University in the promotion of scholarship, character and morality of the students (e) to promote literary, scientific and health education (f) to maintain, acquire or construct a house, lodge or assembly hall for the maintenance or students and for study and discussions (g) to encourage and provide opportunities for the physical development and well-being of the students.

To provide both temporary current housing and the establishment of permanent housing for the benefit of members of the Texas Beta Chapter of Phi Delta Theta
