TO PROVIDE COMPREHENSIVE SERVICES WHICH PROMOTE HEALING AND ENHANCE THE QUALITY OF LIFE FOR ABUSED AND NEGLECTED CHILDREN IN CENTRAL TEXAS
Through collaborative efforts of all agencies involved in the investi- gation, treatment and prosecution of child abuse, a total of 844 children received 4,864 services such as crisis intervention, forensic interviews, case coordination and review, family advocacy/case manage- ment, counseling and medical treatment, 209 families received 1,463 trauma focused theraphy sessions, 1,375 family advocacy services were provided, 1,215 cases received multidiscipinary case coordination and 143 children received medical care. 6,621 DFPS Statewide Intake were reviewed.
