ADMINISTERS HOMEOWNERSHIP ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS FOR INCOME ELIGIBLE HOUSEHOLDS LEVERAGING FEDERAL SUPPORT WITH LOCAL FUNDS. ASSISTANCE INCLUDES DOWN PAYMENT ASSISTANCE VIA 0% INTEREST DEFERRED PAYMENT 2ND LIENS AND NEW CONSTRUCTION OF SINGLE FAMILY HOMES SOLD TO QUALIFYING INCOME HOUSEHOLDS WITH SELLER CONCESSIONS TO ACHIEVE AFFORDABILITY TO THE HOUSEHOLD.

OWNS AND OPERATES A FORTY UNIT MULTI-FAMILY RENTAL HOUSING PROPERTY WITH LAND USE RESTRICTION AGREEMENT (LURA) REQUIRING A MINIMUM OF 50% OF THE UNITS TO BE RENTED AT REDUCED RENTAL RATES, SET BY U.S. DEPT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT, TO ASSURE AFFORDABILITY TO LOW AND VERY LOW INCOME HOUSEHOLDS. THIS PROPERTY WAS SOLD IN APRIL 2019. OWNS AND OPERATES WHAT WAS A BLIGHTED COMMERCIAL PROPERTY PROVIDING A ONE STOP SHOP FOR GOVERNMENTAL AND SOCIAL SERVICE PROVIDERS SERVING SAME TARGET POPULATION OF SOCIOECONOMICALLY DISADVANTAGED HOUSEHOLDS IN ACQUIRING HOUSING ASSISTANCE, JOB TRAINING AND PLACEMENT, CHILD CARE SERVICES, CHILD SUPPORT, UTILITY ASSISTANCE, AND HELP WITH SUBSTANCE ABUSE, AS WELL AS VARIOUS OTHER FORMS OF ASSISTANCE.
