Pre-School Education: Children from age 6 week-old infants to rising 5 year-old Junior Kindergartners. Interactive work with young learners in both gross and fine motor skills; on-going color, number and letter awareness and recognition; socialization skills, learning to share, interact and communicate with peers and adults. Healthy and appropriate physical contact - recognizing intrinsic and critical need of children for warmth and affection. Use of Music, Art projects and written word (read aloud) as entertainment and learning opportunities in appreciation of beauty, humor and story as historical, educational and emotional means of communication. Guidance and nurturing through the early years of childhood, to the goal of helping each child with growth in becoming social beings, preparation for more formal education in K-12 schools and recognition of their importance as children, friends, playmates and people.
