The Texas Thoroughbred Breeders' Association is the officially designated state horse breeding registry for thoroughbreds in Texas. The overriding goal of the ATB program is to promote, develop, and improve the breeding of thoroughbreds in Texas. The Association also sponsors horse sale events for the improvement of the grade of thoroughbreds, raising in Texas, various meetings, seminars, tours, pedigree research and activities designed to assist owners of thoroughbred horses in improving the quality of the horses and the operations.
