1,731 patrons were supplied with 23,230 physical items ( printed books, audio books, CDs, DVDs, and movies). 4,161 patrons visited the library. Of that number 2,822 were adults and 1,402 were children. 5,646 items were checked our during the year (2,996 by adults and 2,650 by children). 28,700 e-books, audio books and videos can be checked out over the internet through the library's membership in the Overdrive Consortium. We have 9 regular volunteers ranging in age from youth to seniors. In addition to regularly scheduled volunteers we had people satisfying court ordered community service hours as well as students gaining general service hours for school credit. These volunteers spent over 300 hours helping the library staff. Patrons have use of 5 computers that access the internet. These were used 574 times. We provide computer tutoring in Word and Excel for beginners. We help patrons with internet research and job search. We answered over 750 research questions. We provide free WIFI and allow the community to print, copy and fax. We have a staff member who is a notary. We have a current website that had 8010 visits last year.

We hosted a weekly story hour that included several stories, a craft and a snack that followed the story theme. When we had to shut down due to Covid 19, we went on-line live to read stories. We created crafts that were in separate bags that could be picked up on the front porch a few days ahead of the story. We held a Summer reading program, but were not able to have special events this your due to Covid 19. The children could check out and read books. They recorded their number of books read in a reading log and turned them in for prizes. At the end of the summer, awards were given out in different categories. Even the youngest children could participate by being read to by a parent or sibling. About 70 youth participated.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, we were unable to provide any adult group programs. We had one open house and book signing by a local author before the shut down. We were also closed for 2 months for outdoor wall and roof repair due to storm damage. We remodeled the inside and installed new flooring. When we reopened we were able to continue providing computer instruction, coping, printing and faxing. Fortunately patrons were able to check out books through Overdrive even when the library was closed. We provided phone support for renewal of library cards and reference questions. Our library staff was available throughout all closures. Adults were included in our Summer Reading Program. About 10 adults participated in the program and were eligible for prizes.
